Frequently Asked Questions
Direct answers about ransomware, confidentiality and how our support works.
What is ransomware and why is it so dangerous?
Ransomware is a type of malware that encrypts the victim's data and demands a ransom to release it. It is dangerous because it can paralyze entire business operations, cause irreversible data loss and inflict severe damage to your reputation.
Do you guarantee the decryption of our data?
We cannot guarantee decryption in 100% of cases, since it depends on the ransomware family and on the availability of recovery tools. Our approach prioritizes restoration from clean backups and forensic analysis to understand the entry vector.
How soon can you start working?
For critical incidents we prioritize intake and start triage as soon as possible. Our team is available 24/7 for emergencies and can start remote containment right after the NDA is signed.
Does Nocera serve individuals or only companies?
We serve both companies and individuals. Whether it is a CEO whose account was cloned, a company under a ransomware attack or a person who needs digital protection, we are ready.
How does confidentiality work?
Every engagement is preceded by a strict NDA. We use encrypted channels (Signal and PGP) by default. We never share client data, not even for marketing. Your crisis is our absolute confidentiality.
